We arrived at the Lighthouse Inn on a bright day in the middle of March for lunch. A very welcoming pub with such friendly staff, and the owner Steve making an appearance. Steve is very friendly, ensuring that his customers are happy. A traditional style pub with a large restaurant area, this venue is a lovely place to have a relaxing drink with something to eat.
The Lighthouse Inn is a Free House situated in Walcott not far from the beach. They offer quality home made food, with a large choice of vegetarian meals. They also have a healthy Children’s menu. A good choice of drinks, including four real ales. Open all day, every day, for food and drink (food available until 10.30pm).
We chose to have toasted ham and cheese sandwiches, which were loaded with carved gammon ham and grated cheese, accompanied by a lovely crisp salad. We shared a large basket of handcut chips. The next visit will be for dinner because their menu looks fantastic!
The Lighthouse Inn also has a huge garden and in the summer has a 60 x 40ft marquee. Throughout the summer holidays Monday to Thursday they offer Childrens Entertainment and Family Disco with Free Admission.
